The use of this service is strictly for members of the Trade Decorator Forum.
Free Listings and Reciprocal Link Rules
We manually review all free directory listings, and any listing not adhering to the following guidelines will not be included in our directory:-
- A free listing must adhere to the submission guidelines listed below
- Use of our site is FREE all we ask in return is that you place a link back to our directory on your website or social media page, if you submit a free listing.
Use of our Service
Subject to these terms and conditions, we grant users a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use our website.
Submission Guidelines
This is a human-review directory. We will not accept listings that :-
- are not in English
- have little content
- are not relevant to this directory
- have no contact information anywhere
- are not genuine businesses
You must ensure that any contact or other information which you supply to us is accurate and not misleading and you will update it so that it remains so.
Furthermore, we will use our own discretion when considering decorating business for inclusion to this directory.
Your account
Your account on our Service is for your personal use only and is non-transferable. You must not authorise or permit any other person to use your account. You must take reasonable care to protect and keep confidential your password and other account or identity information. You must notify us immediately of any apparent breach of security such as loss, theft, misuse or unauthorised disclosure or use of a password. You are responsible for third parties who use your account or identity (unless and to the extent that we are at fault).
Your Content
You understand that Trusted Decorator does not pre-screen, control or approve all content and is not responsible for content made available through the service.
You are responsible for your Content.
You irrevocably agree that you have (and will retain) all rights and permissions needed to enable use of your content as contemplated by our service and these terms and conditions. For example, if you are a decorator uploading photos or videos of your work, you must ensure that you have consent from your customer to meet copyright laws and that you irrevocably agree to indemnify Trusted Decorator should this not be the case.
You acknowledge that we do not guarantee that your Content will generate any particular level of revenues or suitable enquiries.
You are not permitted to sell advertising, sponsorship or promotions on or in connection with the Service.
Reviews
You acknowledge that we allow Users to leave reviews and ratings about you and that these may be negative;
The Customer who posts the feedback is directly responsible for its content, and the accuracy and legality thereof. Decorators understand that Trusted Decorator is not responsible for the feedback content that those customers post, or any harm done by such content.
If you use any features of the service which enable you to share your content with third party sites, we are not responsible for use of your Content on those third-party sites.
Trusted Decorator aims to ensure that feedback is authentic and will remove feedback that in its sole discretion appears to be fake but makes no claim or warranty of the accuracy or authenticity of any feedback. Trusted Decorator may, at its sole discretion, also remove feedback at the request of the author.
We reserve the right without notice to reject, suspend, alter, remove or delete content or to disclose to the police or other relevant authorities or to a complainant any content or behaviour if it is the subject of complaint or where we have reason to believe that it breaches our terms and conditions, or that such steps are necessary to protect us or others, or that a criminal act has been committed, or if we are required to do so by law or where requested by the police or other appropriate authority. If so, you must not attempt to re-publish or re-send the relevant Content.
It is your responsibility to decide which content to publish or send (subject to these terms and conditions). We do not accept responsibility if your content is misused by other users as this is outside our reasonable control. Do not publish any content if you are concerned that it may be misused.
Limitations
You agree that Trusted Decorator has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any content maintained or transmitted by the Website. You also acknowledge that Trusted Decorator reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the website (or any part thereof) with or without notice, and that Trusted Decorator shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of any services.
It is your responsibility to make your own backup of any content uploaded to the website to protect you in case of loss or damage to such material. We are not responsible for such loss or damage.
You agree that we shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from the provision (or non-provision) of any part of the service, including loss of profit or consequential loss or damage.
We reserve the right without notice to irretrievably delete your content if your account has been inactive for six months.
Intellectual property rights
Trusted Decorator owns all the intellectual property rights relating to the site, including the designs, text, database, graphics and layouts, and you agree not to use or copy any part thereof without our express permission.
The intellectual property rights on postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, or other materials (“content”) users upload to Trusted Decorator are retained by the copyright owner, and these are added to the site by users at their own risk. In doing so you are giving expressed and irrevocable permission for us to store, display and use the content in any media formats, on our own website, email communications, social media, PR, competitions and press releases and also on third party media, including for the purpose of redistribution or promotion of our Service.
Privacy
You acknowledge and agree that we may process your personal information in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy which is subject to change from time to time.
Termination of service
We may at any time, for any reason deactivate your account, block your email address, or otherwise terminate or restrict your access to use of the website, immediately and without notice, including, without limitation where we believe that you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
Further, you agree that Trusted Decorator shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination or restriction of your access to the website.
You are entitled to end this agreement at any time by closing your account in accordance with the instructions on our Service and by deleting your content from the website.
Functioning of our Service
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free and are not responsible for any losses arising from such interruptions or errors.
We are entitled, without notice and without liability, to suspend our Service for repair, maintenance, improvement or other technical reason or to make changes to the Service.
Changes to Ts & Cs
Trusted Decorator reserves the right to change or update these terms and conditions from time to time. As a User of the website, you are responsible for acknowledging any updates of these terms and conditions by visiting this section. Any significant changes in the terms and conditions will be followed by notification emails to all active Users.
